 Maroon Creek Club
Aspen, Colorado
Over the course of twenty-five (25) calendar days in August and September of 2012, the Wadsworth Company completed the reconstruction (coring, drainage, gravel blanket, greensmix) of sixteen (16) playing greens and two (2) putting greens, and the construction of two (2) new playing greens on golf holes #17 and #18 at Maroon Creek Club in Aspen, CO. Originally conceived as work for two or three separate contractors, the Wadsworth Company was the only contractor willing to tackle the entire scope of work in the short time frame available. And we are proud of the fact that the work was completed on-time, within budget, and to the stringent standards set by both the owner and Fazio Golf Course Designers, Inc., the golf course architect.
 Hillcrest Country Club
Bartlesville, Oklahoma
In the late summers of 2011 and 2012, the Wadsworth Company completed an 18-hole greens renovation project at Hillcrest Country Club in Bartlesville, OK. Under the guidance of the owner and Tripp Davis and Associates, the golf course architect, the Wadsworth Company was tasked with reshaping all of the green complexes, including the installation of new drainage tile, a 4-inch gravel blanket, and a 12-inch layer of greensmix. The adjacent greenside bunkers received new drainage, bunker liner, and bunker sand. The greens were seeded with bentgrass, the green collars were sodded with zoysiagrass, and the green and bunker surrounds were sodded with bermudagrass. All and all, this was a successful project for all parties involved.
